Big Brother Watch has grown used to receiving reports of local councils misplacing, losing and accidentally leaking confidential information about their local residents. Politicians seem to think that tobacco or alcohol excuses the introduction of pretty much any bullying new law. This brings home how intrusive the pat down has become - my last pat down at Gatwick finished me of flying.
