I now bring you a story in the Evening Gazette to provide a brief comical interlude from the General Election...
A curiosity shop owner and councillor has had his stone willy seized by police after complaints it was obscene.
Jason Hadlow, chairman of Yarm Town Council and owner of the Simply Dutch store in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire, was left gobsmacked at the confiscation.
“It’s absolute madness they’ve taken this willy - it was right there in the shop window next to a statue of Venus and a replica of Michelangelo’s David,” said the entrepreneur, who lives in Yarm.
Mr Hadlow was given 24 hours to remove the stone penis. Now he faces an £80 fine to get his 4ft high masonry manhood back.
You may be wondering what jerked the police into removing the offending phallus?
Well apparently they had received a complaint from a member of the public. According to the report Mr Hadlow was issued with a penalty notice for disorder for committing a public order offence. But it is the £80 fine he received that most people will find really offensive.
Given that they left Michelangelo's David on show, one can only assume that in this event it really is the size that matters (stop tittering ladies). In which case the Cerne Abbas Giant may soon find himself on the receiving end of the strong arm of the law.

Watch out for the Cock Police™ - you never know when they might strike next.

What kind of a loser makes these kind of complaints to the police? And why haven't they been sectioned?

Just say that in the event that you contest the FPN in court, that the court would need to have view of documetary evidence of the actual complaint filed.
Then see if you can count to 10 before it's dropped.

Just when you believe that stupidity cannot sink to new depths, the police boldly go where no-one has gone before.

The quicker we get elected Chief Constables the better - then the police might start to do what we, the majority of law abiding taxpayers, want done, not mucking about like this.

Hey dude!!! I think the information that you have given in this article is kind of misleading. Though may have written it with a good intention of informing us, but don’t you think that the article is prompting people to going against the subject instead of going against it?http://www.cnn.com/
